About
Hamilton Glass is a Richmond muralist and public artist whose large-scale work appears across the city, from Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School to the GRTC transit complex. A Philadelphia native with an architecture degree from Hampton University, he moved to Richmond permanently in 2007 and began painting murals in 2009. In 2020 he founded Mending Walls RVA, a public-art project pairing artists from different backgrounds to create murals exploring healing and connection, which grew to more than 30 artists and nearly two dozen murals and was the subject of a PBS documentary.
