Phil Ray is Chief Operating Officer of Peoples Advantage Federal Credit Union, where he also directs Business Services. He is co-founder of Center of the Universe Brewing Co. in Ashland, Virginia, which he and his brother started from home-brewing in 2009, and which also created the Hops for Heroes initiative in collaboration with breweries across the U.S. Phil's background spans mechanical engineering (Honeywell), mentoring with the Virginia SBDC, and the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund; he is also co-founder of Origin Beer Lab.
