Nicole Jones represents Richmond's South Central 9th Voter District on City Council, having been appointed in December 2023 and elected to the seat in November 2024. A New York native and Richmond resident of over 25 years, she previously served on the Richmond City School Board (2020-2023) and is an executive with ART 180, a local youth arts nonprofit. Her council priorities center on addressing poverty's effects on young residents, affordable housing, and equitable access to services in a district with the city's largest Latino population.
